Super Absorbent Polymers

The superabsorbent polymers belong to a group of polymers capable of absorbing large amounts of water or liquid (100, 200, 300 times their weight in water). These polymers when absorbing water form a gel that gives them properties for a wide range of uses. The current uses of Super Absorbent Polymers range from agriculture to the cable industry. At Alquera we work with a wide range of super absorbent polymers which you can find below: hydrogel o potassium polyacrylatefor agriculture, for water retention for plants, the sodium polyacrylate for all types of applications where you need liquid retention, the GEL BALLSfor decoration and water supply for potted plants and the artificial snow (sodium polyacrylate based, but modified), which is used in snow decorations and science experiments for children. You can see more information about each of them by clicking on each image.
